Day 1 of many posts to come!

So I've been back home for about three and a half months and I've got to say that things really aren't going the way I had planned them. Luckily I did find a job that provides me with an income and a purpose but I'm still not content with how my life is panning out.
However,I must say that being home again and hanging out with my sisters has been fun especially because we all take turns taking care of our little chihuahua Maxx. He's grown so much in only a year and I hope he lives forever. My parents are going through their usual shenanigans and I'm actually afraid that they aren't taking care of themselves and cutting time from their overall time. But that's beside the point and something that I've tried helping them sort out but have failed many times and have decided that I, for the moment, can do nothing to help them.
In regards to my job I got this cool job as a paralegal at an immigration non profit org that I really actually enjoy and am grateful to have actually landed. The people at my job are kind of weird, with the exception of my boss. His name is Daniel S. and I could not have asked for a better boss, he's even got like a dorky/nerdy cuteness going on. The other people kind of have bad attitudes or aren't very sociable when they're working but I constantly feel bad because it's my general instinct to smile when I see one of them and most of the time they don't return the smile or even worse, acknowledge my presence. I think they're just busy and their heads are just in a million places. Regardless, they're extremely helpful with any questions and I'm glad they always have an answer. I love my job, first job ever and I have my own office with perfect temperature settings and clients who are usually very appreciative of the services I provide. In regards to what I provide since I didn't mention it before, I essentially fill out people's applications for either a green card/permanent resident status or fill out the paperwork necessary for them to obtain citizenship. The forms are quite easy to fill out but I'm assuming that's only because I've received training.
Anyway, lots more to tell but I'll save some for later. Also, thank goodness that my phone doesn't have a physical keyboard and instead an on screen keyboard that doesn't require me to be clicking so many keys just to write this entry.
