Bike Ride

I recently started biking again because my knees are semi-soar and cannot run as comfortably. Biking is quite fun and I always challenge myself to go further and further. Well, my bike ride on Friday didn't end so well. I ended up falling when trying to transition from the actual street to the sidewalk. I fell and apparently my sweater was good enough to not dissolve with the friction but I did end up with scrape on my right forearm and my right knee. Also, my wheel is now not straight and has a deviation which means I have to take out to get repaired. I shall, however, persevere and continue biking.

End of something beautiful

Recently the school year at ucsc ended and I must say I will miss it dearly. I met so many awesome people from so many different countries and I developed even better friendships with those who I was already friends with. Also I met some really cool people who go to my university and I had not met before but I'm sure glad I did. However, in order for any of this to happen I faced the loss (not death, just not friends anymore) of someone very special to me who I  ultimately could not continue being friends with. I shall be sad but I shall also enjoy those memories and try to make next year as cool and fun as this year. I love life.

On the road as a Graduation surprise!

Why is it that I feel weird visiting a friend your graduation? It's a simple visit, nothing much to analyze. I don't think I've thought of it too much. Where am I going to sleep, who will feed me, what will I do after? Why does my kind always dwell on the idea of not being liked by others? I wonder if anyone else thinks like I do?

Funny but True!

I myself am a warm person most of the time but really fashion doesn’t really have to hurt. I would give my jacket to any girl, any time.

My worst absolute confession is that I love this show a little too much! I watch it religiously.

Most Memorable Childhood Photograph

Afghan Girl [1984]

And of course the afghan girl, picture shot by National Geographic photographer Steve McCurry. Sharbat Gula was one of the students in an informal school within the refugee camp; McCurry, rarely given the opportunity to photograph Afghan women, seized the opportunity and captured her image. She was approximately 12 years old at the time. She made it on the cover of National Geographic next year, and her identity was discovered in 1992.

One of the cutest things online!

I love when I go online and read through blogs and find pictures such as this one. Just makes the world that much better.
